The Osun State Government has announced the release of the first batch of successful applicants for recruitment into public primary and secondary schools across the state.
In a statement issued on Friday in Osogbo, the Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Oluomo Kolapo Alimi, said the shortlisted candidates have been directed to check their names online or visit designated government offices to confirm their status.
The approved offices include the Osun State Civil Service Commission, the Ministry of Education, the Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), and the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) headquarters, all located in Osogbo, the state capital.
Alimi disclosed that successful applicants are expected to begin collecting their letters of appointment on Monday, March 9, 2026.
He added that Governor Senator Ademola Adeleke congratulated the shortlisted candidates and urged them to view their appointment as an opportunity to serve the state.
According to the commissioner, the governor encouraged the new teachers to carry out their duties with diligence and dedication in order to contribute meaningfully to the development of the education sector in Osun State.
The governor also expressed appreciation to all applicants for their patience and support while the government completed the recruitment process aimed at strengthening the education system in the state.
