Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has pledged to directly target top commanders of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards following a missile strike on an Israeli town.
Speaking on Sunday during a visit to the southern town of Arad, which was hit by an Iranian missile a day earlier, Netanyahu made it clear that Israel intends to escalate its response.
“We are going after the regime. We are going after the IRGC, this criminal group,” he said while inspecting the damage caused by the attack.
He further stressed that Israel’s actions would not be limited, adding that the country would pursue the leadership, infrastructure, and financial assets of the Iranian force.
“We will go after them directly — their leaders, their facilities, and their economic resources,” Netanyahu declared.
