ADC Candidate Visits Owa of Otan, Unveils Manifestos -

The Governorship Candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Osun State, Dr. Najeem Folasayo Salam, on a political consultation visit to Otan Ayegbaju, paid a courtesy call on the Owa of Otan Ayegbaju, His Royal Majesty, Oba Lukman Adesola Ojo Fadipe, Arenibiowo, Olatanka III.

The visit formed part of the ADC’s ongoing grassroots campaign and stakeholder engagement ahead of the forthcoming Osun State governorship election. Dr. Salam arrived at the ancient town accompanied by the party’s deputy governorship candidate and top executives of the African Democratic Congress across the state.

The event attracted party faithful, community leaders, youths, women groups, and residents of Otan Ayegbaju who gathered to welcome the ADC delegation and listen to their plans for the development of Osun State.

Speaking at the palace, Dr. Salam formally presented his ambition to become the next Governor of Osun State to the people of Otan Ayegbaju and sought the support, prayers, and cooperation of the traditional institution and the electorate. He emphasized the importance of good governance, accountability, economic development, youth empowerment, quality education, healthcare delivery, and infrastructural renewal across the state.

The ADC governorship candidate assured residents that his administration would focus on policies that would improve the welfare of the people and create opportunities for sustainable growth and prosperity.

Also addressing the gathering, the Deputy Governorship Candidate highlighted the party’s commitment to inclusive governance and people-oriented leadership. Both candidates used the occasion to roll out their manifestos, outlining their vision and strategic plans for transforming Osun State if elected into office.

In his remarks, the Owa of Otan Ayegbaju, Oba Lukman Adesola Ojo Fadipe, Arenibiowo, Olatanka III, welcomed the ADC delegation and commended the peaceful conduct of the campaign visit. The monarch encouraged political actors to maintain decorum and ensure that politics remains a tool for development and unity rather than division.

The royal father also urged the electorate to continue to support democratic processes and make informed decisions during the election period.
