Idera 105.3 FM, Otan Ayegbaju, Osun State, is set to take its first anniversary celebration to Ila Orangun with a special Outside Broadcast scheduled for Tuesday, October 6, 2026.
The programme is part of activities lined up to commemorate the station’s first year of broadcasting while strengthening its relationship with listeners and communities across Osun State.
Tagged “Outside Broadcast — Live, Local & Closer to You,” the event will bring Idera 105.3 FM’s presenters and live radio activities directly to residents of Ila Orangun and surrounding communities.
The Outside Broadcast is expected to feature live programmes, interviews, music and community engagement, providing members of the public with an opportunity to interact with the station’s broadcast team and participate in the anniversary celebration.
The initiative reflects Idera 105.3 FM’s community-focused approach to broadcasting, taking its programmes beyond the studio and creating opportunities for direct engagement with its audience.
Based in Otan Ayegbaju, the station has continued to serve listeners across Osun State and beyond, using its programming to connect with communities and provide platforms for information, entertainment and public participation.
The first anniversary celebration also provides an opportunity for the station to reflect on its first year on air, appreciate its listeners and celebrate the relationship it has built with its growing audience.
The Ila Orangun Outside Broadcast is expected to form one of the major community-based activities marking the anniversary.
The station’s anniversary message, “Same Great Station… Now Closer to You!”, captures the purpose of taking the celebration directly to its audience.
Residents of Ila Orangun and neighbouring communities will have the opportunity to meet members of the Idera 105.3 FM broadcast team, participate in live radio activities and contribute their voices to the anniversary programme.
The event is scheduled for Tuesday, October 6, 2026, as Idera 105.3 FM continues its first-anniversary activities.
With the Outside Broadcast, the station aims to make its anniversary celebration a community experience while reinforcing its connection with listeners.
The Ila Orangun event will therefore provide another opportunity for Idera 105.3 FM to celebrate “one year on air” while bringing its programmes and presenters closer to the people it serves.
